PHILOSOPHY. We are a husband and wife partnership combining the best of Japanese and Western Rustic Traditions. Our philosophy is to create unique furniture inspired by nature that succeeds on three levels:

THE DIFFERENCE. What distinguishes our pieces from “TWIG FURNITURE” is the careful attention paid to our material selection and above all, our joinery.
- All structural joints are carved and screwed together. This adds stability and strength. It also allows you to tighten joints as the wood dries or acclimatizes to new environments.
- These combined techniques make for luxuriously comfortable, strong and functional furniture.
COLOUR CHANGES. One of the many pleasures of owning rustic furniture is the chance to see it change colour. Over time each piece will change from green to brown. All of these changes will be affected by heat, cold and moisture. Given some easy care, your furniture will last many generations.
CARING FOR YOUR PIECE:
- Avoid exposure to water and harsh temperatures.
- Lightly tighten screws as needed.
- Oil 1 to 2 times a year with TUNG oil.
